Curiosity Leads to Passion | How Being a Little Bit Curious Might Just Lead to a New Passion

Curiosity Leads to Passion

In this episode of my podcast, I have an intimate chat about finding your purpose and passion in life. By being a little bit curious, you can find your passion. I open up about my own journey through severe postpartum depression and a suicide attempt, which left me feeling lost and questioning my reason for being alive.

I describe the pivotal moment where I prayed to God for guidance, and felt led to go back to school for architecture and pursue drawing and painting. This sparked a new sense of identity and purpose for me. Though I found painting very healing for many years, this past year I struggled to connect with it and instead found comfort through writing.

The episode focuses on diving into your curiosities instead of pressuring yourself to instantly identify your one true passion. I share an impactful excerpt from Elizabeth Gilbert's "Big Magic" about exploring even tiny sparks of interest. I explain how my curiosity about an architectural writing class led me to suddenly feel compelled to write a book, which I'm now actively working on.

I conclude with an encouragement to give yourself permission to try new things that intrigue you without needing to master them overnight. By following your curiosity and leaning into what speaks to your soul, you may uncover hidden talents and a deeper sense of who you want to become.

Dive in. See how your curiosity leads to passion.
